Livescan Fingerprint Service

The State now requires you to pre-register on their CHAI site. Once you successfully pre-register for your fingerprints, the State will issue a Livescan Request Form that has critical routing codes in the upper left hand corner. Enter your email and the State will send you an 8 digit code by email to access your data.

Step 1:

Determine if you are already eligible in the CHAI

(Clearing House Applicant Initiated Site for State of Florida). If eligible, do not fingerprint until you determine if you can transfer existing prints.

Step 2:

If you have no profile or you have an existing profile but your status is "EXPIRED":

Initiate Screening 

 

Step through questions.  Acknowledge Privacy Policy by clicking check mark in blue box at bottom of outer scroll page. You have to scroll to the bottom on the OUTSIDE scroller. Intuitively, it looks like you have to click the document to sign it, but NO. If you open the privacy policy document, you must close and scroll and acknowledge. If you are stuck, use the back button.

 

IMPORTANT: When you get to the Vendor Search, do not use it. It takes you away from the site and you won't get your form.  Look just below search criteria and above vendor list for

"continue without making an appointment"

It does not look like a hyperlink and it's not very prominent, but find it and it will register you, 

taking you directly to your  Livescan Request Form.
